Some projects start by taking things out. We handle the structural side of a renovation, the work that has to be right before any kitchen, bathroom or decoration goes in.
Structural work
- Knock-throughs: removing load-bearing walls and fitting steel beams to the engineer's design.
- Chimney breast removal with the correct support above.
- New internal walls in block or stud to change a layout.
- Brickwork and blockwork repairs and new openings.
Refurbishment to shell
For a tired house that needs everything doing, we can strip it back to a clean, sound shell: removing old finishes, ceilings, partitions and services, dealing with any structural issues, and leaving a blank canvas ready for a full refit.
Any structural alteration needs building regulations approval and, in most terraced and semi-detached houses, party wall notices. We'll explain what applies to your property.
