Website terms
This website is run by Web Designer Limited, trading as London Builders. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 15002899. Registered office: 119a Flat 2 Uxbridge Road, London W7 3ST. By using it you accept these terms.
Information only
Our guides give general information based on published official guidance. They aren't professional, legal or planning advice, and rules can change. Always check current guidance and your local council before starting work.
Quotes
Nothing on this website is an offer or a price. Any building work is agreed in a separate written quote and contract.
Builder introductions
Through our quotes page, London Builders introduces homeowners to independent builders. Those builders aren't employed by London Builders, and London Builders doesn't carry out, supervise or guarantee the work they quote for. Any contract for that work is between the homeowner and the builder, so agree a written contract directly with the builder. Builders who apply through our builders page are checked by hand before they're listed, but a listing or introduction isn't an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee.
Listing and introductions are free for builders and homeowners, and nobody can pay to be put forward first or more often. We put forward up to three listed builders who cover the homeowner's area, nearest first, using the automatic matching rules on our how it works page. London Builders doesn't put itself forward through the quotes page. Our how it works and fair rules page explains how we choose builders, what we check, how to be removed and how to complain, and forms part of these terms.
Builders who are listed must keep their details accurate and tell us promptly if their insurance, company status or memberships change. We may decline, pause or remove a listing at any time.
Complaints
Tell us about a complaint through our contact form. We aim to reply to complaints within 10 working days.
